JARED CROUSE, MC, LPC, CSAT
Jared is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is a CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist). He also offers EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). He earned his Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He has been in the behavioral health field for over 20 years. Jared began his career working with juveniles in residential treatment centers beginning in 1999 with A New Leaf, and eventually the U-Turn Foundation. While working with the U-Turn Foundation, he also provided outpatient counseling for at-risk youth in the Arizona Juvenile Superior Court system. For the past ten years, Jared has worked as a clinician, providing individual, group, and family therapy. His area of focus includes sexual maladaptive behaviors, pornography and substance addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, divorce, family conflict, grief and loss, communication, and family therapy. His treatment approach centers around cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on the power of one’s thinking over their feelings and behaviors. He also believes building positive connections with others is essential. Jared has the innate ability to see the good in others and understands the value of an individual and wants to help them to realize their potential. He has the capacity to make others feel comfortable, regardless of their individual situation. He believes that humor can play an important role in the therapeutic process. His personal interests include sports, science fiction, family, and spirituality. Jared is the father of four children, and has been happily married to his wife for twenty five years.
